Therapy isn’t for the faint of heart

It’s hard to open up, to trust someone, and to talk about difficult thoughts and experiences. I get it, but you wouldn’t be here if you didn’t believe it could help. Reach out. Tell me what’s going on, and what would be different if therapy works.

You’ve come this far. Don’t turn back now.

Hello and welcome!

You’re probably here because you’re having a rough time, or because you want something in your life to change.

I’m sorry if you’re feeling sad, frustrated, confused, anxious, depressed, maybe even hopeless, but I’m glad you’re here. It’s important to know when we need support, so let me get down to it and give you the answers you’re seeking.

My Approach

I approach my work from what we *therapist types* call a strengths-based perspective. What does that mean?

Instead of telling you what to do, I trust you to find your own answers.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t sit silently, nodding my head, and taking notes.

I play an active role in the relationship by offering potential solutions and reframing your perceptions of what’s going on in your life.
